Does anyone have a good bok choy recipe?
My problem with it usually you end up with kind of watery and mushy mess :)

Nooooo :( I had a really fantastic version with a garlic sauce from a chinese restaurant around here, but like you, any reproductions turn into watery gunk. :P

The only place I've ever found it not-disgusting was wonton soup. I suspect it goes in in the later stages of cooking.

My husband came up with two ideas - deep friend and with bacon chips (now that I think of it, one does not exclude the other!).

Very simple - buy good thick cut bacon, I prefer smoked. Cut it up in small pieces and fry them up!
